Marking Score Cards
Junior Eclectic Round 2
Unfortunately due to score card marking, round two has been canciled and will be replayed on Saturday 27th.
During Saturdays round I was unable to determine correct scores as the card markers were not entering there scores into the markers score column and only one card had been signed at the bottom.
Below is a picture of a correctly marked score card.

During Saturdays round I was unable to determine correct scores as the card markers were not entering there scores into the markers score column and only one card had been signed at the bottom.
Below is a picture of a correctly marked score card.
Please note areas on the scorecard that need to be filled in and remembered,
a) Competition
b) Date
c) Your Name,
d) You MUST swap cards with your opponents.
e) You MUST write your score in the markers score column and your opponents score in the Player A column
f) You MUST sign on the markers signature line and swap back with your opponent and sign on the Player signature line.
These few things must always be completed when playing in a completion so thats score cards can be checked by both players. And so the scorer can mark the cards accordingly to produce results.
Many Thanks
Ed

Junior Eclectic Round 1
Round 1 Results
1st Ben Newman 25pts
2nd Matt Clark 25pts
3rd Josh Altham 20pts
All names from Saturdays comp have been entered into next weeks event, Saturday 20th June, 2015, Please inform Ed if you are not available to play.
If you unsure on Eclectic Rules, I have listed them below,
An eclectic, or eclectic tournament, is a multi-round golf tournament that results in one 18 or 9-hole score per player.
Eclectics work this way: Each golfer plays X number of rounds, and each golfer compares his scores on each hole per round. The lowest score made on each hole is recorded, producing an 9-hole score.
For example, let's say the eclectic is made up of three rounds. In the first round, the golfer scores a 6 on hole No.1; in Round 2, he scores a 7 on hole No. 1; in Round 3, he scores a 4 on hole No. 1. The lowest of those three scores on the first hole is a 4, so that is the golfer's eclectic score.
So the golfer compares his scores on each hole in every round of the eclectic, selects the lowest per-hole score, and that is his eclectic scorecard.
